It was a lovely hotel and the staff were superb, especially the cleaning staff who came to the room, they were just so friendly and really enhanced the experience. Loved the green apples and iced water on check-in, the friendly concierges and the beautiful spa area. Our room felt so well equipped and well designed for ease of use. Little details like the movies not working on the tv were promptly seen to by a repairman.

I would have liked to be able to open a window, in such a beautiful room it was a pity not to have fresh air. Laundry when my 2yr old boy was ill on his clothes cost £25 for laundering a childs top, trousers and jacket, which felt excessive. I had thought my booking included breakfast, so was a bit disappointed to find it would cost us £18.95 each (£37.90) to eat breakfast, it felt very high. However, staff dealt with this very well and were very helpful.

This was by far the best hotel in uk I have ever had. Great service, the view from my hotel room on the 9th floor was amazing, the Spa is excellent, the restaurant serves excellent food!

The efficiency of the reception staff was excellent.

Bar staff a tad intrusive. Breakfast buffet devoid of eggs!

The room was stunning and very chic. the bed was huge and really comfy and the bathroom was fantastic with bath and shower. Service was excellent in both bars and room service.

Only thing is I would have like to have been advised in advance of optional service charges, I almost always leave a tip but at my discretion if the service is good. that is my only slight complaint, everything else was perfect.

    Superb

I thought the staff were loverly, they made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us, can't wait to go back.

Our room could of been a bit warmer.

    Very good

The food and staff were excellent for the most part, although the initial contact with the receptionist could have been better. The first receptionist we spoke to was a little disinterested and my partner (male) seemed to get better treatment.

I believed we were staying at a 5 star hotel, hotel the rooms were little better than an Premier Inn. The carpet was stained and frayed in places. We were also put in a room by the lifts which was quite noisey. The blinds detached from the runner, however, they were repaired within 10 minutes of reporting, so again, excellent service.

    Very good

The location. The room facilities some smaller details usually unthought of in other hotels were much appreciated ( ie hooks to hang ones coat on, simple yes but useful). would stay again but perhaps be more selctive roomwise( although it was meant to be a 'deluxe' twin)

checking in, although receptionist was only a trainee she spoke far too quickly (almost from a script), didnt wait/listen for an answer to ??? We found the room comfortable etc but far too noisy, 14th floor/double glazing did nothing to deaden the noise from G-Mex. And people (clubbers?) constantly to-ing and fro-ing along the corridors to nearby rooms in the early hours, slamming doors spoilt the eve we'd spent at the bridgewater. To be honest, we could have stayed at the Premier inn and had the same experience for a lot less££. A moot point, but, also I have'nt stayed in a hotel yet that can actually toast toast! always brought early so I'ts cold and usually so underdone it still just bread.

Great location, very central to the shops and in walking distance to the MEN arena. Very pleasant staff. Rooms stylish and comfortable.

Tea and coffee were available in the room but more supplies would have been better. Also there were no snacks or biscuits in the room to have with tour drinks! No car parking at the hotel and the one recommended was very expensive.

A little bit of luxury. The rooms are fantastic and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Good bar , but pricey drinks, although in fairness, probably on par with most decent hotels.
